This Privacy Policy explains how J Websites, a trade name of JV Online Services Inc. ("we," "us"), collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit jwebsites.com, request a free website analysis, contact us, or use our services. For U.S. clients, JV Global Consulting LLC (Houston, Texas) handles marketing, invoicing and collections on our behalf and follows this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, current website address, business type, the plan or offer you're interested in, and any message you send.
Client information: billing contacts, invoices and payment records, proof of business formation date (for the Startup Launch Deal), current developer invoices (for Switch & Save), and the content you provide for your website.
Technical information: when you submit a form, our server records your IP address and the time of submission to prevent spam and abuse. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs.

We do not store credit or debit card numbers on this website. Card payments are handled by our payment processor under its own privacy and security terms.

2. How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and prepare your free website analysis and mockup
To provide, bill for and support the services you order
To confirm eligibility for special offers
To send service notices, such as launch updates and renewal reminders
To protect our website and forms against spam, fraud and abuse
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We send marketing emails only if you've asked to receive them, and every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

3. Who we share it with

Our own team at JV Online Services Inc. in Zamboanga City, Philippines, and JV Global Consulting LLC in Houston, Texas, as needed to serve you
Service providers who help us operate, such as our web hosting provider (HostGator), email providers, domain registrars and payment processors, each only for the services they perform for us
Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or the public

4. International transfers

We operate in the United States and the Philippines, so your information may be stored or accessed in either country. We protect it with the same safeguards wherever it is handled.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for up to 2 years if you don't become a client. We keep client and billing records for as long as needed to provide services and as required by tax and accounting law (generally up to 7 years). Website files are deleted 6 months after cancellation if they have not been transferred, as described in our Terms of Service.

6. How we protect it

This website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to client information is limited to the people who need it to do their work, and we use strong passwords and access controls on the systems where it is stored. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. If you're in the Philippines, you have the rights of a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), including the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. If you're in the United States, you may have additional rights under the privacy laws of your state.

8. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add website analytics in the future, we will update this Policy first.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses and organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
