1. Who we are

J Websites is a trade name of JV Online Services Inc., a corporation located at the Mag-V Building, San Jose Road, Zamboanga City, Philippines ("J Websites," "we," "us"). For clients in the United States, J Websites services are marketed, invoiced and collected by JV Global Consulting LLC, 820 Gessner Road, Suite 300, Houston, Texas 77024, acting as billing and collection agent for JV Online Services Inc. Payments made to JV Global Consulting LLC for J Websites services are payments to J Websites.

By ordering a plan, signing a proposal, or paying an invoice, you ("Client," "you") agree to these Terms.

2. Services

Depending on your plan, our services may include website design and development, web hosting, domain registration and renewal, business email accounts, SSL certificates, backups, security monitoring, software updates, content edits, and basic search engine optimization. The features included in each plan are described on our website or in your written proposal. Work not included in your plan may be quoted separately.

Websites are hosted on third-party infrastructure (currently HostGator). We manage your hosting account, but we do not control the hosting provider's network and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Fees, billing and taxes

• Prices are in U.S. dollars unless your proposal states otherwise.
• Setup fees are due in full before work begins.
• Plan fees are billed in advance, monthly or annually, as stated on your plan or proposal.
• Prices do not include sales, use or similar taxes. Applicable taxes, including Texas sales tax on taxable services, are added to your invoice.
• If a payment is overdue, we may suspend hosting, email and other services until your account is brought current.

4. Term, automatic renewal and cancellation

Each plan has a minimum term of 12 months, starting on the date your website launches or your hosting begins, whichever is earlier. Your plan renews automatically for additional 12-month terms at our then-current rates unless you cancel before your renewal date. We will send a reminder by email before each renewal.

To cancel, email info@jwebsites.com before your renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current term. If you end services before the minimum term is complete, the fees for the remainder of that term remain due.

5. No refunds

Setup fees are non-refundable once paid. Prepaid hosting, care and plan fees are not refunded for any unused portion of a term, including if you cancel early.

6. Ownership of your website and domain

You own the content you provide (text, photos, logos) and the domain name registered for you. Once all fees are paid, you also own the design and content of the website we create for you.

Themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and other third-party components used on your site are licensed, not owned, and remain subject to their own license terms. Our internal tools, templates and know-how remain ours.

7. Transfer and deletion after cancellation

If your account is current when your plan ends, we will, on request, provide a copy of your website files and database and help transfer your website and domain to the hosting provider you choose.

We do not keep websites indefinitely after cancellation. Websites that have not been transferred are permanently deleted 6 months after cancellation, and cannot be recovered after that.

8. Special offers

Startup Launch Deal. Available to businesses formed less than 2 years before the order date, with proof of formation or registration date. The deal includes our Starter plan for $25 per month for the first 12 months, billed annually ($300) in advance, plus a $499 setup fee paid in advance before work begins. After the first 12 months, the plan renews at the regular Starter rate (currently $99 per month). Sections 4 and 5 apply.

Switch & Save. Available to clients whose website is currently hosted and maintained by a professional web developer or agency. You must provide a current invoice for those services. We will offer a lower price for comparable hosting and maintenance services, as determined by us. Do-it-yourself website builders are excluded. The 12-month minimum term applies.

Free website analysis and mockup. Provided without charge or obligation. The mockup is a design concept. Building it into a working website requires a paid plan.

We may change or end any offer at any time; changes do not affect orders already accepted. Offers cannot be combined unless we agree in writing.

9. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information, content and timely approvals. Launch timelines (typically 3–5 weeks) depend on receiving these.
• Make sure you have the right to use any content you send us, and that your website complies with laws and professional rules that apply to your business.
• Keep your login details secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorized access.
• Not use our services for unlawful, harmful, infringing or spam activity. We may suspend services that violate this rule or our hosting provider's policies.

10. Warranties and limitation of liability

We perform our services with reasonable care and skill. Otherwise, services are provided "as is," and we do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, sales or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law

For clients in the United States, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas. For clients outside the United States, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Zamboanga City.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply to renewals and new orders after the posting date.
